Janise Somer

Biography

Janise is a Project Manager, Special Projects Implementation, with the Sustainable Housing Initiative (SHI). She is currently managing the "Map Your Property" project with the goal of increasing affordable housing across Canada. Janise comes to RDN with 25+ years of managing communications & marketing, primarily in the non-profit sector.

Janise is committed to supporting  social "helping" agencies and volunteers with organizations such as the Red Deer Dream Centre (an addictions recovery centre for men), Dress for Success, and SPARC Red Deer. In her free time, you will find Janise power-walking, biking, x-country skiing, reading, and spending time with friends or her adult kids.
